"Giving Back to School" is an incentive program designed to benefit local schools through cash awards. Students, families, friends and educators are all encouraged to shop Mount Berry Square Mall and apply their store receipts to their favorite participating school. Schools will receive one point for every dollar spent at Mount Berry Square Mall. The school with the highest point total at the end of the program wins the grand prize - $5,000 cash!

Why should you participate? Free money for your school, that's why! Everyone has shopping to do. Why not help your school at the same time? Every participating school has a chance at the cash awards, but how much is based on the total accumulated points earned by each school. So even the soda or latte receipt adds up! And, the money can be used for multiple things like smart boards, scholarship programs and even field trips. It's all up to the school!

It's so easy! Shoppers simply make a purchase at any store or food court restaurant in Mount Berry Square Mall beginning November 12, 2011 through April 30, 2012. Schools will receive credit points when mall shoppers bring their original receipts to the Mount Berry Square Mall Guest Services Center during the hours of 10:00 am - 9:00 pm. A Guest Services representative will record the purchase and stamp the receipt. Receipts are logged, stamped and returned right back to the customer.

"Giving Back to School" Official Rules:

• Only receipts from Mount Berry Square Mall store or food court restaurants will be counted.

• Receipts must be original and in readable condition.

• Receipts must be dated from November 12, 2011 through April 30, 2012.

• Schools must reach a minimum point balance of 5,000 by January 31, 2012. Schools that do not obtain the minimum point balance will be eliminated from the program.

• Receipt total, including tax, is eligible for credit.

• Store gift certificate and gift card purchases, or store charge payments are not eligible for credit, but purchases paid for by gift certificates and gift cards are eligible for credit.

• Soliciting/collecting of receipts on mall property is prohibited including, but not limited to, employees working within Mount Berry Square Mall.

• Participating schools are credited one (1) point for every dollar of eligible store receipts unless otherwise specified by Mount Berry Square Mall.

• Mount Berry Square Mall management reserves the right to eliminate a school, modify or cancel this program for any reason.
